Belmont Data Center Tour: From Vision to Built Reality
Join the 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter - WiMCO, SDC Capital Partners, Gensler, and High Concrete Group on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 for an interactive walking tour of a premier data center campus currently taking shape in Ashburn, Virginia.
This behind-the-scenes experience will offer a rare opportunity to step inside a hyperscale Data Center environment and see how the early decisions that define a project - ownership vision, design intent, technical coordination, material strategy, value engineering, and construction execution - come together on site.
The tour will begin with a welcome from women leaders across the ownership, design, precast, and construction teams, followed by a guided walk through the interior and exterior project areas. Along the way, we’ll discuss the campus’s aesthetic and technical ambitions, including site planning, zoning, substations, exterior design, precast strategy, and the collaborative process required to move from rendering to reality.
Following the tour, attendees will gather at DC Prime Patio for a networking happy hour sponsored by High Concrete.
PPE is required: Please bring your own closed-toe shoes and safety glasses. Hard hats and safety vests will be provided, though attendees are welcome to bring their own.
