Join the 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter and the 7x24 Exchange Central Virginia Chapter as we join forces to kick off the summer with a Scholarship Awards Ceremony and educational presentation at Northern Virginia Community College’s Woodbridge Campus.

During the event, we will announce and recognize our scholarship award recipients, tour NVCC’s 8,000-square-foot Data Center Operations training facility, and hear from an industry expert on the future of critical infrastructure and workforce development.

The specialized training center is designed to prepare students for careers in mission-critical operations, featuring hands-on environments that include server rooms, HVAC systems, power distribution, and process control technologies.

This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with industry peers, support emerging talent, and explore one of the region’s premier data center training facilities.

The AI Power Challenge: Building Resilient,
Grid-Friendly Data Centers

As AI adoption accelerates, data centers are confronting unprecedented power demands driven by high-density GPU workloads and rapidly fluctuating energy consumption. Traditional electrical infrastructure was not designed to support these dynamic load profiles, creating new challenges for grid stability, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance. This session explores how leading operators are adapting their power strategies through grid-interactive UPS technologies that help balance utility demands, improve efficiency, and maintain uptime. Attendees will gain insight into the evolving relationship between AI growth and energy infrastructure, along with practical strategies for designing and future-proofing next-generation data center environments.

The 7x24 Exchange DC Chapter is proud to host its 16th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on September 28th at The Golf Club at Lansdowne.

Over the past 15 years, this event has raised more than $250,000 for charitable organizations including the Gary Sinise Foundation, Children’s National Medical Center, Fisher House Foundation, Boulder Crest Foundation, and the American Heart Association, in addition to awarding over $500,000 in scholarships.

This year, we are continuing to elevate the tournament experience by introducing premier sponsorship opportunities that will help us donate a significant amount of funding to a local charity while also expanding our annual scholarship program for 2027.

Our annual golf tournament remains the Chapter’s largest fundraiser of the year, made possible through the continued support of our sponsors. Due to the popularity of this event, registration will initially open exclusively to members.

The day will begin with breakfast and networking, followed by a shotgun start. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy contests and prize opportunities at every turn, including closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and hole-in-one challenges, among others.

Following the tournament, guests are invited to a fun-filled reception and awards ceremony featuring a 50/50 raffle, food and drinks, and additional networking opportunities in the ballroom.

Please note: The Sharkbite Foursome will play on a 9-hole executive course. Participants are encouraged to play the course twice to enjoy a full 18-hole experience. This year, a dedicated committee is enhancing the Sharkbite course with interactive games and an open bar to create a truly memorable round.

New this year, we are introducing Tent-Only Sponsorship opportunities designed specifically for non-golfing companies that would still like to participate in and support the tournament. These sponsorships provide a unique opportunity to engage with attendees throughout the day and showcase your company’s brand onsite. Please note that companies may purchase only one sponsorship type; organizations purchasing a foursome sponsorship will not be eligible to purchase a Tent-Only Sponsorship.
