Director of Real Estate & Facilities Management

Based in Washington DC, GEICO is the nation’s 3rd largest auto insurance corporation, and one of Warren Buffet’s companies. As Director of Real Estate & Facilities Management, Derrick’s responsibilities include oversight of critical infrastructure: datacenter operations, maintenance, building automation controls, monitoring and security for 14 locations throughout the US, including their corporate headquarters facility.

John McCullen, Capital One
Director - Project Management

John McCullen has been at Capital One Facilities since 1998 in various management capacities. He has served as the Design and Construction portfolio manager for the CVA, Mid Atlantic and Northeast regions until late 2011 when he was assigned as the CRE lead for Data Center strategy. Prior to that he was the Construction/RE lead for every critical project within Cap One since 2007. Current duties include the overall design and construction oversight for Capital One’s new data center construction as well as upgrades to all critical facilities within Capital One’s portfolio.

Scott Killian, AOL
Sr. Technical Director for Data Center Services

Scott has over 24 years of experience in the data center infrastructure industry, concentration ranging from the design, construction, and implementation of large Tier IV data center projects and upgrades, to directing and managing the teams and organizations responsible for operating these facilities. Included is over 15 years of experience with data center operations, hardware installation and support, as well as dealing with internal customers and required service levels.

Jonathan Litvany, Digital Realty Trust
Global Sales Director

Jonathan Litvany is a Datacenter and Communications Technology professional. With technical expertise ranging from sales, engineering, backbone design and implementation to full datacenter and critical systems design builds, Mr. Litvany is a true full-stack engineer with a balance of technical and business acumen. The current position with Digital Realty Trust offers some of the best attributes of Mr. Litvany’s career to this point. Directing the Southeastern United States Sales Region, has enabled his commercial interests in Enterprise and Government Datacenter to be focused in an area of deep expertise.

Kenn Stipcak has over twenty-six years of experience in the commercial real estate, design and construction industry while focusing the past fourteen years exclusively to data center development. As the Managing Director of MGAC’s Critical EnvironmentsGroup, his responsibilities include all aspects of program management and project delivery from business case justification through turnover. Kenn has represented numberous enterprise data center clients such as Capital One, TD Bank, Time Warner Cable and Eaton Corporation to name a few.
